Euroeyes International Medical Advisory Board

The EuroEyes International Medical Advisory Board (IMAB) annually brings together the world’s leading eye specialists, including practicing surgeons and academics, to discuss the latest scientific developments in refractive and cataract surgery.

The EuroEyes IMAB comprises a group of internationally renowned ophthalmologists and opinion leaders in the field of refractive surgery. The board advises the EuroEyes senior management team on the latest scientific findings and their derivations for concrete initiatives and further developments. It advises the company on breakthrough treatment developments, new technologies and general trends in cataract and refractive surgery to further strengthen EuroEyes’ leading position in the correction of refractive errors.

This enables EuroEyes to offer patients around the world the optimal medical technologies for them. The EuroEyes IMAB is unique in the world, as hardly any other listed vision correction clinic group has established such a medical advisory board within the company.

In addition to Dr. Jørgensen, Prof. Dr. Knorz, Prof. Dr. Neuhann and PD Dr. Lerche, the EuroEyes IMAB also includes Prof. Dr. Dick, Prof. Yao Ke, Professor Gerd U. Auffarth and Professor Dan Reinstein, who are also internationally renowned ophthalmologists and specialists in the field of vision correction.

Euroeyes adds two more world-leading ophthalmologists to its International Medical Advisory Board

In 2022, EuroEyes has succeeded in attracting two of the brightest minds in ophthalmology to IMAB: Professor Gerd U. Auffarth, Head of Ophthalmology at the University of Heidelberg Eye Clinic and Professor Dan Reinstein, Founder and Medical Director of the London Vision Clinic.

Jørn Slot Jørgensen, MD, Founder, Director and CEO of the EuroEyes group of clinics commented, “We are pleased to welcome Professor Gerd U. Auffarth and Professor Dan Reinstein to our International Medical Advisory Board. One of our commitments to our stakeholders is to drive innovation in vision correction that can bring them exceptional value.
