LoVC enjoys an excellent reputation worldwide for its expertise and in training specialists and treating complicated cases.
LEC London and EuroEyes Group staff are trained at the London Vision Clinic on Harley Street in London, specifically in "Laser Blended Vision" technology for correcting age-related refractive errors with lasers! In turn, the London staff will expand their refractive expertise at the EuroEyes clinics in Germany.
In addition, LoVC is a world leader in the field of laser-assisted correction of presbyopia. Its founder, Professor Dan Reinstein, is internationally renowned for his developments and outstanding achievements in the field of refractive surgery. This includes the invention of PRESBYOND® laser blended vision treatment, which is used by Carl Zeiss Meditec for the treatment of presbyopia and is intended for the treatment of patients 40 years of age and older. PRESBYOND® provides an additional method of treating younger patients with presbyopia through a LASIK procedure that avoids the need for surgery inside the eye to replace the natural lens.
Upon completion of the acquisition, Professor Reinstein will serve as Medical Director of the EuroEyes Group International Medical Advisory Board, which will allow the Group to reach more potential patients suffering from presbyopia at an early stage, adding tremendous value to the LEC and EuroEyes team of experts.
