In 2022, Zhejiang University Eye Hospital, under the leadership of Prof. Yao Ke (President of the Chinese Cataract and Refractive Society), joined forces with David Apple Laboratory at the University of Heidelberg (Prof Auffahrth) and Euroeyes International (Dr Joern Joergensen), to establish a collaborative initiative fostering the exchange of doctors between China and Europe for scientific and training purposes.
We're happy to announce that Dr. Wu Zhiyi has recently arrived in Heidelberg to pursue his PhD work. Looking ahead, a German doctor will participate in the exchange with the University Eye Clinic in Hangzhou later this year. This collaboration marks a significant step in developing and expanding our partnerships in China, and we are excited about the opportunities it brings.
